About the Artist
Rick lives in California and Michigan, where his affinity for computer technology and love of art have combined to create the work you see on these pages.
Much of the work was developed through a process of photographing drawings done by the artist, and then using digital technology to color and manipulate them.
The photographic work developed through travel experiences and again the use of digital technology to enhance the spirit of the image.
Initially the images were printed on archival paper, which created a rich, vibrant image, but Rick believed that working in a digital medium opened the door for using various printable surfaces to add another dimension to the work.
A series of images has been produced on aluminum, with cured weatherproof ink that can be displayed framed or unframed outdoors.
In November of 2010, Rick was given his first chance to show his work publicly in Palm Springs, CA.

Pieces printed on Aluminum range in price from $165.00 to $750.00 based on size. They can be prepared to hang without frame, or framed to suit. The ink on these pieces is cured and suitable for outdoor use.
